The Heritage Christian Academy Lions lost against the Temple Christian Watchmen last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Heritage Christian Academy fell 37-30 to Temple Christian.
Heritage Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addelynn Reid, who scored 13 points. Reid scored a full 43.3% of Heritage Christian Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Spangler, who scored nine points.
Heritage Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Temple Christian, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.
Heritage Christian Academy has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Victory Baptist Academy at 12:00 p.m. on December 18th. Temple Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westlake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
