Beaver has gone 7-2 against Quaker Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Quakers at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Beaver's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
Beaver fought the good fight in their overtime game against North Catholic on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 49-42 to the Trojans.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jonah Justice, who rushed for 160 yards and one score, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 105.9 rushing yards per game. Avery Scales was another key rusher, gaining 84 total yards and two touchdowns.
Even if they lost, Beaver's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Bryan Adams was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
Meanwhile, Quaker Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 63-21 loss at the hands of Central Valley. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Warriors are ranked 109th).
Beaver will have to keep a close watch on Rex Fatur and Ty Popowich, a pair of players who had a big impact on Quaker Valley's prior game. Fatur rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while Popowich rushed for 39 yards and one TD. Atticus Barr made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Quaker Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Beaver, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Everything came up roses for Beaver against Quaker Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 51-19 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Quakers' Jack Diemert, who rushed for 136 yards and three scores on only 12 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Bobcats to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
