The Timberline Wolves's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 39-24 win over Borah. The win was just what Timberline needed coming off of a 59-32 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Timberline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emmi Swillie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Swillie has scored at least a third of Timberline's points. Grace Mertes was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Timberline's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Borah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.
Timberline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Borah will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Centennial at 6:00 p.m.
