Swansea is 0-3 against the Diamond Hornets since January of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Swansea Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets at 8:00 p.m. Swansea is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Swansea struggled with offensive rebounds on Tuesday (the Bruins had 12 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Swansea was dealt a 95-25 defeat at the hands of the Bruins. Swansea has not had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Swansea got a solid performance out of Michael Murphy, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Lower Richland didn't have too much trouble with the Bearcats at home on Friday as they won 50-32.
Swansea dropped their record down to 0-20 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Lower Richland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Swansea took a serious blow against the Diamond Hornets in their previous matchup back in January, falling 65-24. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Swansea was down 43-9.
