The Interlachen Rams are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Interlachen will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs last Friday, then bounced right back against Crescent City on Tuesday. The Rams' pitcher stepped up to hand the Raiders a 10-0 shutout. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Cason Turner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, Jose Garcia and Justin Lockhart did most of the damage at the plate: Garcia went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Lockhart went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Lockhart a new career-high.
Meanwhile, P.K. Yonge posted their closest win since March 28, 2025 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hawthorne, sneaking past 5-3.
Colt Kramer was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
P.K. Yonge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Interlachen, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Interlachen has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like P.K. Yonge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Interlachen skirted past P.K. Yonge 8-7 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Blue Wave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
