Aubrey Rogers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 20-5 margin over the American Heritage Stallions. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won nine matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Delaney McCroskery made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Aubrey Rogers got a massive performance out of Alexis Alvarez, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave Alvarez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sofia Ardezzone, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Aubrey Rogers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Aubrey Rogers pushed their record up to 11-13 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for American Heritage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Aubrey Rogers will square off against Estero at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American Heritage, they will face off against Royal Palm Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests.
