Baseball Recap: Disney II Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Disney II made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Westinghouse, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Disney II was the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over Westinghouse on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Avery Coughlin, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

Disney II always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .694. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Disney II's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10 runs. As for Westinghouse, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Disney II will head out to challenge Farragut at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Disney II's pitchers better be ready for this one: Farragut has averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Westinghouse, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mather at 4:30 p.m. on April 7.
