Morro Bay got a great performance from Eli Brown as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Brown has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Quentin Crotts, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Luis Obispo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over Lompoc on Saturday.
San Luis Obispo saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Taylor, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. Another was Blake Schafer, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
