The Loving Falcons suffered their biggest loss since December 22, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 60-14 loss at the hands of Tularosa. Loving has struggled against Tularosa recently, as their game on Thursday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Loving lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Keyna Granado, who scored eight points along with three blocks. That was a full 57.1% of Loving's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Loving's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Tularosa, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.
Loving will head out on the road to face off against Hot Springs at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Hot Springs is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Tularosa will take on Rehoboth Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
