Even though the Space Coast Vipers have not done well against the Rockledge Raiders recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Space Coast came out on top against Rockledge by a score of 46-38. That's another feather in the cap for Space Coast, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Space Coast to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ana Muniz-Ramos, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Phillayjah Carroll, who scored nine points.
Space Coast is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Rockledge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Space Coast and Sebastian River will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sebastian River will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Rockledge won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Vero Beach at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th.
