After flying high against Old Forge  last Friday, Hanover Area came back down to earth. The Hawkeyes had to suffer through  a    56-19 loss at the hands of the Berwick Bulldogs. The Hawkeyes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  35-12.
 Although Hanover Area took the loss, they still got scores from  Conor Richardson and  Deacon Eisenbach.
Hanover Area now  has a losing record of 2-3. As for Berwick, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Hanover Area didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  42-0  victory against Tunkhannock on the 26th. As for Berwick, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  35-13  win against Wyoming Area on the 26th.
