This season hasn't been kind to the Regency Christian Academy Knights, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They took a serious blow against Cornerstone Charter Academy on Thursday, falling 96-42. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Regency Christian Academy of the 90-39 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Jayden Lebron, who shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double on 50 points and 13 rebounds for Cornerstone Charter Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lebron has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Oderion Jones, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds.
Regency Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
Regency Christian Academy will be playing at home against Innovation Montessori at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cornerstone Charter Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Joseph Academy at 2:30 p.m. on January 19th.
