The Uplift Ascend Prep Eagles can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They put the hurt on Uplift Mighty Prep with a sharp 71-50 victory. The win was just what Uplift Ascend Prep needed coming off of a 62-34 loss in their prior match.
Uplift Ascend Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eligah Smith, who scored 17 points. Corday Knox was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Uplift Ascend Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Uplift Mighty Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Uplift Ascend Prep will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Varsity Opponent has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 12. Uplift Mighty Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
