The match was Asuma's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Carson Brown was another key contributor, almost dropping a triple-double on 18 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.
Carlton/Wrenshall's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Cherry, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
Carlton/Wrenshall will head out on the road to face off against Cherry at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Cherry focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. As for they, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Carlton/Wrenshall at 7:15 p.m. on January 3rd. Carlton/Wrenshall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Cherry is ranked 17th).
