Basketball Recap: Forestburg Beats Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for Their Third Straight Win

Forestburg had won two straight games and Jesus Sanchez did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Forestburg Longhorns claimed a resounding 64-27 win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent thanks in part to Sanchez, who posted 21 points. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Forestburg's victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Forestburg won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bryson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Forestburg knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Bryson likes a good challenge. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 50-47 win against Westbrook on the 12th.
