Reading had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 56-49 victory over the Lockland Panthers on Tuesday. The Blue Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Reading's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Lockland, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reading will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Miami Valley Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Lockland will take on National Trail in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
