The biggest upset of the week belonged to Paris, who took down 345th ranked Paris, 25-6.
Charleston's Josh Cazley rumbled for the longest rushing play in Apollo this season in his game against Mt. Zion last week. Cazley's team beat the Braves as he sprinted for 80 yards on the play and finished with 187 in all.
Charleston's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sean Hussey threw for 250 and two touchdowns and Austin Cohn had 111 yards receiving. Truston Winnett helped Charleston's passing attack out by catching six balls for 68 yards.
Charleston's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hussey has thrown for 1347 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Winnett has 33 catches for 633 yards. Cazley leads the league in rushing with 824 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Tigers take on Brian Halsey's team. At the moment, Paris is in third, while the Trojans are in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Mike Brouwer's team takes on Charleston. The Tigers have allowed 183 points this season, while the Trojans have given up 112.
Effingham moved up to 348 from 378 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Apollo. The Flaming Hearts climbed the ranks as a result of a 25-6 win over Paris.
