Nash Ott Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Yuma Catholic got the W thanks in part to Nash Ott playing the best football he has all season. Ott threw for 418 yards and six touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Unfortunately for St. Mary, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ott. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Ott saw the Knights), he threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns while completing 82.8% of his passes.

Sir Stokes Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Yuma Catholic was led to victory by Sir Stokes, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Stokes picked up 269 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ receiving yards (108.4) per game.
On the season, Stokes has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 108.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two receiving touchdowns.

Nathan Johannes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Northwest Christian to the win on Friday. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 94 yards.
The win was the third in a row for Northwest Christian, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. They and Lake Havasu are set to duel on Friday.

Laki Wallwork produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Northwest Christian to the win on Friday. Wallwork threw for 313 yards and four touchdowns while completing 79.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards.
On the year, Wallwork has thrown 12 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 207 passing yards per game.

Little Came Up Big in Thunderbird's 45-0 Victory
Elijah Little was instrumental in extending Thunderbird's winning streak to six on Friday. Little was unstoppable, rushing for 122 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Little must have Lake Havasu's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Little rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in September of 2023.
