The Columbine Rebels's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 64-43 margin over Chatfield. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Columbine has posted since December 12, 2023.
It was another big night for Emily Allison, who scored 24 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. She hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Speir, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Audrey Hubbell, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Josie Lynch was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six blocks.
Columbine's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Chatfield, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbine will square off against Arvada West at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Arvada West will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Chatfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Ralston Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
