WESTON, Fla. -
University (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 10 in the fourth quarter to seal a 37-7 victory over Cypress Bay (Weston, Fla.).
After taking the lead on a
Jordan Scarlett touchdown run in the first quarter, the Suns were up 20-7 at the half.
University expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. UHS scored once in the quarter on a
Sean White touchdown pass to
Chris Taylor.
Scarlett played well for the Fort Lauderdale school in the victory. The junior running back ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
Cypress Bay's only touchdown came on a run in the first quarter.
The loss comes after Cypress Bay defeated Boyd Anderson 27-0 last week. The win brought University's winning streak to four games.
