Make it six blowout wins for the Providence Pioneers this season. They blew past Clarksville 59-9 on the road. The win was nothing new for Providence as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Providence found their leader in underclassman Jayda Kempf, who scored 24 points along with five assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kempf has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Avery Smith, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Clarksville struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Providence's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Clarksville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing New Washington the next time they take the court. Clarksville will host New Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Providence will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
