Sullivan is 8-1 against White River Valley since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Sullivan Golden Arrows will look to defend their home court against the White River Valley Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. Sullivan is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Sullivan beat Vincennes Lincoln 52-46.
Sullivan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cooper Bock, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Bock is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Pirtle, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, White River Valley can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 59-33 margin over Crothersville. The victory was just what White River Valley needed coming off of a 52-24 loss in their prior match.
Sullivan is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for White River Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Everything came up roses for Sullivan against White River Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 72-38 win. Does Sullivan have another victory up their sleeve, or will White River Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
