The Bishop Fenwick Crusaders fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Bishop Feehan Shamrocks on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Shamrocks by a score of 29-26. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bishop Fenwick in their matchups with Bishop Feehan: they've now lost three in a row.
Among those leading the charge was David Quinn, who rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Quinn is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Austin Clemente did his part by putting the 'special' in special teams, booting in three field goals and two extra points.
Bishop Fenwick's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Bishop Feehan, the victory was the sixth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Bishop Stang the next time they take the field. Bishop Fenwick will head out to face Bishop Stang at 6:00 p.m. on October 27th, while Bishop Feehan will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on November 22nd.
