Rib Lake-Prentice had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game against Athens by a conclusive 28-6 score. After losing to Athens the last time they met, Rib Lake-Prentice decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. This was the first game for both teams, giving Rib Lake-Prentice a 1-0 record and starting Athens off at 0-1.
Next week, Rib Lake-Prentice take on Pittsville at 7:00 PM. As for Athens, they will face of against Augusta. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
