After soaring to 31 points the game before, The Lakeside Panthers were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by Glynn Academy on the road and fell 50-7. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Lakeside's defeat was their fourth straight on the road , which bumped their record down to 3-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.0 points per game. As for Glynn Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
Lakeside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Glynn Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Jonesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
