There's no place like home for Kent Denver, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors 3-2 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Sun Devils as it put an end to their eight-match losing streak.

Kent Denver took Eagle Ridge Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 24-26, 22-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Kent Denver was led to victory by Valana Thompson and Player #8. Thompson had 38 digs and five aces, while Player #8 had 38 digs and five aces. That's the most aces Thompson has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Kent Denver was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
