After a string of six wins, the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowen.
Bowen was led to victory by Caleb Wright and Jeremiah Carter. Wright scored 16 points, while Carter scored ten points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Carter hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Rashad Jackson, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Steinmetz College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Bowen, they pushed their record up to 20-8 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Steinmetz College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bowen is on the road again on Friday and plays the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Horizon Science Academy-Southwest will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
