Atlantic Coast came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Ribault Trojans with a sharp 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Stingrays, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Atlantic Coast got a massive performance out of Forest Pepperkorn, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Pepperkorn a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wade Surber, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Atlantic Coast always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Atlantic Coast's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ribault, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlantic Coast will face off against Baldwin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ribault, they will square off against Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ribault is facing Riverside at the right time seeing as Riverside is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
