The Tunkhannock Tigers will head out on the road to  take on  the Morgantown Mohigans  at 9:00  a.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Tunkhannock proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by ten) and  on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-5  win over Chardon.
  Addisyn Waterman was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Lucy Karp, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
Morgantown never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Springfield on Thursday. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of  10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Mohigans not only won  on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 30, 2024.
The team  relied heavily on  LIZ ALSOP, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  KIRA SMITH also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
 Morgantown  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .562. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Tunkhannock's record is now 2-0. As for Morgantown, their record is now 4-5.
