The Honoka'a Dragons will head out on the road to square off against the Hilo Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Honoka'a has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 589 points over their last eight contests.
Even though Pahoa scored an imposing 66 points on Saturday, Honoka'a still came out on top. Honoka'a managed a 71-66 win over Pahoa.
Meanwhile, Hilo scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Hawaii Prep as Hilo made off with a 68-45 victory. Winning may never get old, but Hilo sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Honoka'a has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Hilo, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
Honoka'a didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Hilo when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 67-62 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Honoka'a since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
