The Hoover Buccaneers are taking a road trip to  challenge the Hazel Green Trojans  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
Hoover's last matchup with Orange Beach could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's  contest on Saturday. The Buccaneers lost  15-1 to the Makos. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Buccaneers have suffered  since March 25th.
 Meanwhile, Hazel Green posted their closest  victory since April 5th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Helena, sneaking past  6-5.
 Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Hazel Green, their win bumped their record up to 21-12.
 Hoover was able to grind out a solid  victory over Hazel Green when the teams last played  back in February of 2024, winning  6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
