Maud is 9-0 against Bowlegs since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Maud Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Bowlegs Bison at 7:00 p.m. Bowlegs took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Maud, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Maud got themselves on the board against Sasakwa, but Sasakwa never followed suit. They breezed by the Vikings on the road to the tune of 49-0. The result was nothing new for Maud, who have now won three matchups by 38 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Bowlegs came up short against Maysville on Friday and fell 22-12. Bowlegs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Colton Sullivan, who rushed for 189 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
Maud's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Bowlegs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Maud against Bowlegs in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 60-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Maud since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
