Christ Chapel Academy was outmatched by the Eagles at home and fell 67-35. Christ Chapel Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-8.
Despite the loss, Christ Chapel Academy saw an underclassman step up: Sean Michael Robinson scored 11 points. Mark Greenlee was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Fredericksburg Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Johnson, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Holst, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
This is the second loss in a row for Christ Chapel Academy and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Fredericksburg Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
