Richland won the last time they faced McComb, and things went their way on Monday too. Richland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over McComb.
Richland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6-3 record this season. As for McComb, they bumped their record down to 6-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Richland will head out on the road to square off against Hartfield Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McComb, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Raymond at 7:00 p.m. Raymond comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
