Hi-Plains recap November 19, 2013
Meade extended the longest winning streak in Hi-Plains this week by beating Smith Center, 28-0. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Buffaloes.
Meade scaled the state rankings by moving to 36 from 62 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Scott Moshier's team climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Redmen 28-0.
Elkhart's Alex Gomez and Juston Hurn led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Gomez has thrown for 2,107 yards this season, while Hurn has 46 catches for 1,261 yards. The Buffaloes' Jett Little leads the league in rushing yards with 1,407.
Meade took down Smith Center 28-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Little threw for 39 yards and ran for 177 yards during the win.
