Kobe Craig Goes Supernova in Damonte Ranch Victory
Starting off the list is Damonte Ranch's Kobe Craig, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Craig rushed for 177 yards while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 145 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win (which was Damonte Ranch's third in a row) raised their record to 4-4. Craig and Damonte Ranch will take on Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Kermode Made His Presence Known in Galena's 51-6 Win
Colson Kermode's big game helped extend Galena's winning streak to four on Friday. Kermode was dynamite, throwing for 190 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.
If the past is any indication, Kermode could be in store for another big game when he takes on Wooster on Friday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Kermode saw the Colts), he rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 230 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt.

Joey Jamison Turns in Season-Best Performance
Joey Jamison produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Damonte Ranch to the win on Friday. Jamison threw for 144 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (seven) he has had since back in October of 2023.
This season, Jamison has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 70 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he was only averaging 35.26 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 75.88 passer rating.

The second Galena player making an appearance here is Matt Ritenhouse, and for good reason. He picked up 44 receiving yards.

Rounding off our Top Five is Angelo Macias of Carson. Macias rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles.
For the year, Macias has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 57.1 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 27.13 rushing yards per game.
