Ezekiel Academy won against Heritage Christian Academy  on Thursday with eight  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Ezekiel Academy Knights didn't even let the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles on the board, marking the Ezekiel Academy Knights' second-straight  8-0 shutout. Considering the Knights have won 11 games by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Sarah Vick made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  home run and three  runs.
 In other batting news,  Lauryn Darnell was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  JoAnna Wascher was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Ezekiel Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage Christian Academy only posted  an  OBP of  .062.
The  win was  the sixth in a row for Ezekiel Academy, bringing their record for this year to 17-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.3 runs. As for Heritage Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-11.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ezekiel Academy will square off against Evangel Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will host Cornerstone Christian  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Heritage Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6  runs per game  this season.
