The Eastland Christian Hurricanes had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 47-43 win over Liberty Christian Prep on Friday. The win was just what Eastland Christian needed coming off of a 67-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Despite the loss, Liberty Christian Prep still got an impressive performance from Jaden Victor, who scored 29 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals. The matchup was Victor's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Zachary Rodbell was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
Eastland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Liberty Christian Prep, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-5.
Eastland Christian will head out on the road to face off against Landmark Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Liberty Christian Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christian Learning Academy at 8:00 p.m. on December 19th.
