Arvada-Clearmont has struggled against Meeteetse recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meeteetse found their leader in underclassman Max Potas, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Elliott, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Arvada-Clearmont's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Meeteetse, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Arvada-Clearmont will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sheridan at 4:30 p.m. on December 21st. Meeteetse's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sundance at 1:30 p.m. on December 9th.
