Despite the loss, Marietta saw an underclassman step up: Aedan Ellison scored 28 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jorge Remis, who scored six points.
Plainview's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Marietta, they dropped their record down to 7-15 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Plainview will be playing at home against Kingston at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Marietta will take on Healdton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Oklahoma (Marietta is ranked 373rd, while Healdton is ranked 368th).
