Greenbrier Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Tidewater Academy 16-2. Considering the Gators have won 19 matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Peyton Moran was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cora Smith, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Greenbrier Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in four consecutive games.
Broadwater Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Fuqua proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 5-0.
The result came thanks to Marissa Dempsey's shutout, as she gave up just four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kaylie Ledger, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
Greenbrier Christian Academy pushed their record up to 25-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Fuqua, their record is now 12-8.
