The Chattahoochee Cougars will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Northview Titans at 6:00 p.m. Chattahoochee is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
Last Friday, Chattahoochee ended up a good deal behind Greater Atlanta Christian and lost 44-28.
Despite their loss, Chattahoochee saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Riley Berninger, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Loren Withrite was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Northview stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on North Springs with a sharp 46-24 victory. Given Northview's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while North Springs is ranked 412th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Chattahoochee has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season. As for Northview, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.
