Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Tenaha Tigers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 50-14 defeat at the hands of the Lions on Friday. Tenaha's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Ja'Tyrian Moore threw for 45 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes. Ja'Torion Moore was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards.
Tenaha's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Lovelady, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Tenaha does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lovelady will head out on the road to face off against Mart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mart is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
