The home team had come away the winner the last five times First Baptist School and Pinewood Prep had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hurricanes won by a goal and slipped past the Panthers 2-1. This was payback for First Baptist School, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cai Oliver and Lars Weiss scored both of First Baptist School's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

First Baptist School's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Pinewood Prep, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-4-1.
