Basketball Recap: Lititz Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Christian School of York

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lititz Christian). They strolled past Christian School of York with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-41. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lititz Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xavier Titter, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 20 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Kriebel, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Lititz Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive games dating back to last season.

Lititz Christian's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Christian School of York, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
