It was a good run, but Fairport unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the McQuaid Jesuit Knights by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Red Raiders have suffered against the Knights since May 23, 2019.

Fairport's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for McQuaid Jesuit, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairport will face off against Spencerport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McQuaid Jesuit, they will head out to take on Christian Brothers Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
