De Pere extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping their season record up to 19-3 in the process. They came out on top against the Notre Dame Academy Tritons by a score of 8-3. De Pere got a great performance from Cullen Pennings as he struck out eight batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those eight strikeouts gave Pennings a new career-high.
