North Central was led to victory by Keian Fischer and Kol Otten. Fischer scored 17 points, while Otten scored 15 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Fischer scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Zak Swanson, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
North Central's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Creighton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
North Central will take on Chambers/Wheeler Central at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chambers/Wheeler Central is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Creighton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on O'Neill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
