Cardington-Lincoln has struggled against Clear Fork recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Cardington-Lincoln lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Abigail Hardwick, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals. Hardwick has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Jill Bertke was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Cardington-Lincoln has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Clear Fork, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5.
Cardington-Lincoln's road trip will continue as they head out to face Buckeye Central at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Buckeye Central is coming into the match with five straight victories at home, meaning Cardington-Lincoln will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Clear Fork will take on River Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Clear Fork has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
