The Wiggins Tigers lost to the Heritage Christian Eagles back in January of 2023, but the Wiggins Tigers didn't allow the Heritage Christian Eagles the same satisfaction on Saturday. Wiggins came out on top against Heritage Christian by a score of 51-39.
Riley Hunt continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Kerr, who scored 13 points along with six steals.
Wiggins pushed their record up to 5-6 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Heritage Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Wiggins will head out on the road to take on Sedgwick County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Machebeuf at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
